To introduce you, Laughter Yoga is a unique exercise routine which combines unconditional laughter with yogic deep breathing exercises (pranayama). It is the only technique which allows adults to achieve sustained, hearty laughter without involving cognitive thought. It bypasses the intellectual systems that normally act as a brake on natural laughter and it is also scientifically proven to enhance mental & physical wellbeing in multiple ways (including boosting the immune system and helping to manage and overcome stress). Like internal jogging, Laughter Yoga releases feel good chemicals like Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin and Endorphins and breathing and physical movement energises, recharges and relaxes us at the same time.
Monthly club starting Wednesday 28 May in EVI 5.30pm-6.30pm, just £6pp cash on the door.

Yoga mat is not essential but may be a personal preference. *There will be a Laughter Yoga Meditation or grounding exercise to finish which can be done either lying down or seated on a chair. See you there!
