DRUG & ALCOHOL SUPPORT FOR YOUNG PEOPLE ACROSS GWENT
Gwent N-Gage offers free, confidential and friendly one to one specialist support for young people who use substances and for their loved ones.
N-Gage offers mental health support, training and can work with families to help them to understand, respond to and cope with the substance use of their young family members.
Llamau runs 2 programmes for young people; Learning 4 Life supports young people [16-25yrs] with the first steps in improving basic skills, employability skills and confidence.
The SY/MF project provides young people [16-19yrs] who have offended and those leaving the care system greater access to employment and training by undertaking a six month paid work placement.
Coleg Gwent Performing Arts department & students perform live at EVI annually, providing the sound, lighting and stage production as part of their music technology assessment.
ROAD TO WELLBEING: ‘Stress Control’ and ‘Activate Your Life’ are two courses, run in a non-interactive, lecture-style format for anyone that would like to develop skills that enable them to “be their own therapist”, control stress and live a more meaningful life. Class details available here
