Big Ideas Wales is going on tour! Whether you have a business idea already or you are simply curious about the world of self-employment, then this event is for you. Visiting locations across Wales, you will hear from business owners who have been there and done that, take part in an interactive workshop about being self-employed and have the opportunity to meet other young people with similar interests. You will leave this event with a greater understanding of what it takes to get your business started and confident in your abilities to do so with the support of Big Ideas Wales.

If you’re 25 or under and facing barriers that stop you from starting a business, looking for new opportunities, or just have a great business idea then Big Ideas Wales can help. Come along for free!

9.15am Arrival

9.30 – 10am – Welcome from Big Ideas Wales and icebreaker

10 – 10.50 – A Inspirational Talk from a Big Ideas Wales Role Model – a business person who understands the ups and down of being self employed

10.50 – 11am – Break

11 – 12noon – So, is self employment for me? A Workshop delivered by a Big Ideas Wales Business Advisor

12 – 12.30pm Guest speaker from a local organisation

12.30 – 1pm Lunch

1pm – 1.30pm An opportunity to network with the other participants and past Big Ideas Wales clients will have stalls so that you can talk to them about their business and how they started.

1.30 – 2pm Ask the experts – an opportunity to ask questions to the Role Model, Guest speaker and previous Big Ideas Wales clients

2 – 2.10pm Break

2.10 – 3pm Business Workshop – Topic to vary across Wales, delivered by a Big Ideas Wales Role Model
