EVI Car Scheme – Share Your Thoughts!
Comments Off on EVI Car Scheme – Share Your Thoughts!EVI is excited to propose a new community car scheme, aimed at providing affordable door-to-door transportation for Blaenau Gwent residents who face challenges accessing public transport. We would love to get your thoughts.
This service will offer a convenient means for community members to access the centre and benefit from the services we offer, including EVI Pantry and Repair Café, community health and wellbeing activities, our community café, and much more. The scheme can also be used to help people get to health and other appointments, as well as for other everyday needs. Volunteer drivers will use their own cars and will be reimbursed for expenses up to 45p per mile. To help us plan the service effectively, we would like to ask a few questions to explore community interest and gather feedback. Thank you for your time!
If you would like to volunteer as a driver or help us set up this exciting new project, contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Gavin at gavin@evi.cymru, or pop in!
